Co-op presents money from Community Fund. More than £26,000 has been handed over to help fund vital community services by the Co-op stores based in Bedale and Leeming Bar. The money has been raised through Co-op members with one per cent of every £1 they spend going to local good causes. New bus service launch by Rishi Sunak With the arrival of our new bus, Bedale Community Minibus is continuing to expand its services to the local community. Rishi Sunak, our MP, was kind enough to inaugurate our new weekly service to The James Cook University Hospital. Bedale Community Minibus is now operating a weekly service to The James Cook University Hospital for local residents to visit their family members or friends who are patients in the hospital. The service currently operates on a Thursday afternoon and the fare is £7.50 return. Leaving Bedale at 1pm the service will enable passengers to visit their family or friends for approximately 2 hours.
