Not quite as bad as it sounds. We aim to have a member of the Office Team in the office every morning from 0930 - 1200 to meet visitors. Currently we do not have a Friday person so the office is closed on that day. The office is open Monday to Thursday and of course we can be contacted by phone ( answerphone is on out of hours) email or through the website contact page.

Could you spare a few hours once a week to join our friendly team by helping run the minibus office.
We serve the local community by providing transport and arranging social outings, mainly for elderly and socially isolated people.

We are all looking ahead to the better weather when we can get out and about in our beautiful County. To this end we have started planning 3 community trips, a trip to Whitegates Nursery in May, a drive around the Dale ending at Brymor ice cream in July (yummy) and finally a visit to historic Ripon with its canal and Cathedral in September. Councillor John Noone from Hambleton District Council presented the Hero award to our Volunteer drivers for supporting the Bedale community with delivery of prescriptions for those who have been isolating during Covid. Congratulations to everyone involved !
On Friday 20th August the trustees of the Bedale Community Minibus (BCM) invited the volunteer drivers, escorts, and administrative staff to a get together held at The Reubens, to say thank you for their support for the last 7years of providing community transport for Bedale and district communities, and enabling all persons, particularly elderly and disabled to attend events, weekly door to door shopping at Northallerton, and attend Glebe House Surgery for doctor’s appointments.
